Does Regional Innovation Environment Have an Impact on the Gathering of Technological Talent? An Empirical Study Based on 31 Provinces in China

Driven by innovation, the implementation of a strategy for developing quality workforce is key to promoting high-quality development China’s economy. Based on panel data 31 provinces Chinese mainland from 2013 2020, spatial econometric model used explore impact regional environment, heterogeneity and its effect gathering technological talent. The results show that: (1) improvement innovation environment can significantly promote talent in region; (2) has an obvious talent, which manifested strong promotion eastern western regions, siphon region, but it not factor affecting central (3) significant among neighboring provinces. Therefore, improving adapting measures local conditions different regions strengthening economic cooperation have become rational allocation technology resources.
